Nature-Positive Food Systems Enterprise
Premium Honey.
Protected Woodlands.
Inclusive Value Chains.
Woodland Gold Honey Ltd is a Zambian nature-positive food systems enterprise building inclusive and traceable honey value chains that connect smallholder beekeepers to markets, strengthen sustainable production and support the protection of woodland ecosystems.
About Us
Honey rooted in Zambia's Miombo woodlands.
Woodland Gold Honey Ltd is building a nature-positive honey enterprise rooted in Zambia's Miombo woodland ecosystems. We produce premium, traceable honey while working with smallholder beekeepers to strengthen sustainable production, improve market participation and build a more inclusive honey value chain.
We see honey as more than a product. It is part of a wider food system connecting healthy ecosystems, producers, production, technology, food quality, markets and consumers.
Our approach brings these elements together through sustainable beekeeping, responsible sourcing, technology-enabled traceability, quality assurance and market development. By strengthening the connections between producers and markets, we aim to create a honey value chain in which more people can participate, more value can be created and sustainable production can thrive.
Vision
To become Zambia's leading nature-positive honey enterprise, building inclusive and traceable food value chains that create value for people, nature and markets.
Mission
To produce and market premium, traceable honey while strengthening sustainable beekeeping, enabling inclusive producer participation, protecting woodland ecosystems and connecting Zambian honey to local, regional and international markets.

From Hive to Jar
Our Products
Raw Woodland Gold Honey
100% raw, unprocessed flagship honey harvested from sustainably managed woodland apiaries where no trees are cut. Minimally filtered to retain natural enzymes, nutrients, and medicinal properties. Every batch is digitally traceable from hive to jar — a premium, quality-assured Zambian honey with clear origin and provenance.
Beeswax
A natural by-product collected during honey harvesting and processed into clean, natural wax for candles, cosmetics, and skincare products. Free from synthetic additives, it opens new value-added opportunities and additional income streams for producers across the value chain.
Technology & Traceability
Visibility Across the Value Chain
We are developing technology-enabled systems that improve visibility across the honey value chain — from producer and apiary information to aggregation, quality and market delivery.
